Beside the options of installation, wall-mounted or on a pole you may chose also your setup.
VersiCharge AC chargers are providing numerous communication interfaces and an easily scalable parent-child configuration.
Child units can be connected to the local network via WLAN or Ethernet and can communicate with a a parent unit. This central communication interface to OCPP backends provide additional communication capability via UMTS LTE / 4G (SIM card necessary).
Thanks to its Modbus interface, VersiCharge AC chargers can directly interact with building management systems such as Siemens Desigo for dynamic load management.
IEC and UL models
All models provide a 7m charging cable with type 2 connector, (type 1 for UL), long enough to cover the common installation and parking situations.
As in many IEC countries the driver would provide the cable, the IEC models can alternatively be provided with an integrated type 2 socket.
Grid connection options are adapted to the requirements of the specific regions.
Variants for IEC market are available as Single or Three phase models with a maximum of 7.4 or respective 22 kW of maximum power.
During Installation, the maximum current can be limited by a switch to either 2.8 kW, 3,7 kW, 5.5 kW or 7.4 kW in single phase or 8.3 kW,11.0 kW, 16,5 kW or 22 kW in three-phase setups.
Variants compliant to North American UL standards are available in single phase with two options of maximum current, either 40 A or 48 A for charging with 9.6 or 11,5 kW. Such maximum power can again be limited by a switch to 2.8 kW, 3,7 kW, 5.5 kW, 7.4 kW or 9.6 kW.
