The Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) across Thailand's eastern provinces - Chonburi, Rayong and Chachoengsao - is a strategic economic zone which the Thai government strives to develop into a leading industry hub on the journey towards a digital economy or Thailand 4.0. With 1.5 Trillion Thai Bhat (THB) of public and private investment for the first five years, the EEC project is set to unleash the next wave of digitalization and innovation needed to transform Thailand into an economy of the future.
The EEC Journey event on 21st November brought together high-level stakeholders from the government, the Board of Investment (BOI), the EEC Office and Thailand's key industries in order to connect, create and collaborate for joint success.
