Siemens Limited (Thailand) and their employees donated to three selected charitable organizations, which includes Wat Laharn, Taejai.com and the Children’s Hospital Foundation, to support the people in need during the pandemic. This donation contributed to the COVID-19 funeral services, medical treatments and the expenses of vulnerable groups.
Continuing the “From Gift to Giving” campaign
Siemens Limited by Khun Suwannee Singluedej, President & CEO, donated 200,000 baht to Equitable Education Research Institute (EEFI) to help reduce education inequality and provide support for children and youth who need it most, especially in this prolonged pandemic situation. Dr.Kraiyos Patrawart, Director of Equitable Education Research Institute (EEFI) was the representative of the Institute to receive the donation.

Donation of Siemens' CLINITEST® Rapid COVID-19 Antigen Test
Siemens Limited, Siemens Mobility Limited, and Siemens Healthcare Limited donated 4,000 sets of Siemens' CLINITEST® Rapid COVID-19 Antigen Test (worth 1,000,000 Baht) to Southern Border Provinces Medical Center. The donation will provide communities in southern border provinces with access to rapid COVID-19 antigen test for fast and appropriate diagnostics leading to prompt treatment and prevention of further COVID-19 spread.
Donation of cardboard boxes to produce recycled paper beds
Siemens Industry Service Center Rayong delivered cardboard boxes to Khun Sompak Bumrungpong, Deputy Mayor of Noen Phra Sub-District Municipality, and Khun Krittaya Stapirom, Director of the Division of Public Health and Environment. The cardboard boxes will be sent to Rayong Paper Mill Co., Ltd. to produce recycled paper beds that will later be distributed to field hospitals in the country.

“From Gift to Giving” initiative to help underprivileged students in our society
Entering new year 2021, Siemens channeled year-end gift budget to its “From Gift to Giving” initiative. Together with our customers and partners, we helped create a better tomorrow for our children by giving them an opportunity at higher education. Khun Suwannee Singluedej, President and CEO of Siemens Limited donated 150,000 baht to “Kaopueanong” program. Khun Artiwara Kongmalai or “Toon Bodyslam”, a famous Thai rock star was the representative from the program to receive the donation.
Siemens collaborates with government organizations to fight waste pollution
Siemens organized a Beach Cleaning Day, a CSR activity under Siemens Caring Hands. Hundreds of volunteers joined the program to collect garbage around the beach. Siemens also donated 3-meter drainage nets for the drainage systems as well as the nylon garbage bags and other cleaning equipment to Rayong Municipality and local residents.
