The SGT-100 industrial gas turbine is a proven unit for all electrical power generation and mechanical drive applications. The compact arrangement, on-site or off-site maintainability, and inherent reliability makes it an ideal gas turbine for the demanding oil and gas industry. The gas turbine has a rugged industrial design that enables high efficiency and excellent emissions performance on a wide range of gaseous and liquid fuels.

SGT-100 gas turbine highlights

The SGT-100 will ensure your plant has world class availability with maximum operational flexibility. The standard Dry Low Emissions (DLE) combustion system can operate on both liquid and gaseous fuels producing low levels of NOₓ and CO emissions while, at the same time, allowing full load acceptance and shedding with automatic fuel change over that does not affect turbine operation.

The SGT-100 has been used by the oil and gas industry since 1992. Many operating hours in both power generation and mechancial drive applications have provided oil and gas operators with the reliable operation expected in this demanding industry.

The SGT-100 has units operating in a wide range of ambient conditions, from extreme cold, to hot and humid through to hot and dusty. The SGT-100 package design has a series of standard options to cater for these wide variations in ambient conditions.

The Siemens SGT-100 gas turbine is available with a Dry Low Emissions (DLE) combustion system, providing extremely low NOₓ emission levels with both gas and liquid fuels. This modern combustion approach does not rely on injected diluents and addresses the production of low NOₓ with a proven design.

The gas turbine offers dual-fuel capability.

With its rugged industrial design and light-weight core engine, the SGT-100 lends itself for ease of maintenance. Long service intervals combined with rapid core engine exchange capability minimize the downtime, maximizing availability.  An on-site maintenance option is available if required. Siemens industrial gas turbines are characterized by a long service life.

Ingenious design to the core

The SGT-100 features a 10-stage axial flow transonic compressor  incorporating the latest aerodynamic technologies. It has variable guide vanes for robust operability and optimized performance over a wide range of operating conditions.

For power generation the single-shaft design has a two-stage turbine. For mechanical drive the twin-shaft design has a single compressor turbine stage with a two-stage free power turbine. The overall design of the gas turbine is uniquely simple.

SGT-100 package solutions

The health and safety of the operation and maintenance staff is of paramount importance to Siemens. Our package is designed with this in mind with walkways and handrails, noise suppression, access doorways, safety interlocks etc.
The SGT-100 packages are compact and easily transported, installed and maintained.

The package incorporates the gas turbine, the gearbox, the driven unit and all fluid modules, mounted on an underbase. The shop-tested and certified fluid system modules come fully wired into the package control systems.

Comprehensive services to support you

The SGT-100 package configuration incorporates large side doors for easy equipment access and core engine change-out. At the time of service, the core engine can be exchanged for a replacement or the maintenance can be done on site. The package has in-situ maintenance lifting beams.

Maximum fuel capability with minimum environmental impact

The SGT-100 offers a dual-fuel capability for all applications and can be operated with a range of gaseous and liquid fuels. It is designed to meet the customers individual operating criteria including reliable starting and changeover between fuels. The automatic changeover from the primary to the secondary fuel can be executed at any load.
