The members of the Managing Board are jointly responsible for the entire management of the company and decide on the basic issues of business policy and corporate strategy.
Juergen Maier CBE
Chief Executive, Siemens plc
Juergen Maier was appointed Chief Executive on 1 July 2014. He has been a member
of the Siemens UK Executive Board since 2008, and held senior roles within Siemens in the UK and Germany including Managing Director of Industrial activities for the UK and Manufacturing Director of the award-winning Drives factory in Congleton.
Juergen joined Siemens in 1986 with a BSc in production engineering from Nottingham
Trent University, on a Siemens-sponsored graduate programme. He was made an
honorary professor of Engineering at the University of Manchester in March 2014.
In addition to his role as UK CEO for Siemens, Juergen is also Managing Director of its Smart Infrastructure operating company for GB and Ireland.
Angela Noon was appointed CFO and Executive Director of Siemens UK on 1 January 2018. In addition to this role, Angela is also Finance Director of the Smart Infrastructure and Gas & Power operating companies for GB & Ireland.
Prior to her move to UK, Angela was Partner and Global CFO for Next47, the corporate venturing arm of Siemens AG. Based in Germany, Next47 is a fund investing and partnering with Startups to foster disruptive ideas and to accelerate the development of new technologies.
Managing Director, Digital Industries, Siemens plc
Brian Holliday is a member of the Executive Management Board of Siemens plc and Managing Director for Siemens Digital Industries, which serves the manufacturing and infrastructure sectors. He is also Chairman of Siemens Industry Software UK.
He is a supervisory board member for the High Value Manufacturing Catapult in addition to being a main board member for Make UK, the Manufacturers’ Organisation.
Steve began his career in the energy sector and worked for both Mitsui Babcock and Rolls-Royce Industrial Power Group, before joining Siemens in 1998. He became Managing Director of the Rail Systems division in May 2007 and during that time was been deeply involved in a number of high profile rail-related contracts including Thameslink, Eurostar and other franchise procurements. He was instrumental in establishing the National Training Academy to Rail and is a founding member of the High Speed Rail Industry Leaders Group.
Will has been interim CEO of Siemens Mobility Limited since June 2019 following Gordon Wakeford’s retirement. He also remains Managing Director of Siemens Mobility’s UK Rolling Stock business, a position he has held since 1 April 2018.
Will joined Siemens in 2013 when Invensys Rail was acquired by the company and where he was Director of Business Development and Commercial. Prior to his current positions, Will spent several years working for Siemens Mobility in Spain as Head of International Sales, Mainline, leading a team responsible for all global mainline sales.
A former Army Officer, in addition to his career within Siemens and Invensys Rail Will has a broad senior management career spanning over 25 years. This has included positions as Managing Director for Alstom Transport Information Systems and Managing Director of GE Transportation.
General Counsel and Company Secretary, Siemens plc
Simone Davina joined Siemens in the UK in August 2016 having served as General Counsel and Company Secretary for Siemens in the Netherlands since 2012. Simone is also the Diversity and Inclusion Ambassador in the U.K. and Ireland.
Having first joined the Company in 2008 Simone worked in a number of roles for Siemens in the Netherlands including Lead Lawyer for Siemens Healthcare and Deputy General Counsel, before being appointed to the role of General Counsel and Company Secretary in the country in 2012. Prior to joining Siemens Simone worked in private practice for ten years.
Valerie became HR Director for Siemens UK and Ireland in October 2018. Before joining Siemens Valerie was the Talent & Resources Director at Crossrail Ltd where she was responsible for ensuring Europe’s largest infrastructure project had the right people, in the right place at the right time. Prior to this Valerie was the Managing Director (Group Services), Transport for London.
Director of Corporate Communications and Business Development, Siemens plc
Justin Kelly is Director of Corporate Communications and Business Development for Siemens plc and was appointed to Siemens UK Executive Management Board on 1 October 2017.
A Chartered Engineer with a BEng (Hons) from the University of Salford in Computers, Management and Electronics, from where he joined Siemens in 1994 undertaking a series of engineering, product and project management roles before taking on a number of more senior, Marketing, Strategy Business Development positions within the organisation.
Justin is also on the managing board of the Smart Infrastructure operating company for GB and Ireland
Peter Harrison is Managing Director of the separately managed Siemens Healthcare Limited. Having joined Siemens Business Services in 1996, Peter transferred to head Siemens Healthcare Services (SHS) Limited in 2002. SHS's scope of activities extended to Managed Equipment Services and Healthcare IT.
In 2004 he assumed responsibility for the Imaging and Oncology solution business. He was chair of AXrEM, (the Association of Healthcare Technology Providers for Imaging, Radiotherapy and Care), during 2007 and 2008, and continues to represent Siemens within this forum. He has served as the Industry Representative on the Clinical Radiology Faculty Board of the Royal College of Radiologists, and has also served as a Non Executive Board member of an NHS Mental Health Foundation Trust. Peter was also Director and Chair of Metier Healthcare from 2002 to 2008, (at which time Siemens divested its shareholding).
Managing Director, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Ltd
Clark became Managing Director of Siemens Wind Power and Renewables UK division (now Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Ltd) in November 2014, having been with Siemens since 1997.
A member of the Siemens UK Executive Management Board Clark was previously Managing Director of Siemens IT Solutions and Services across North West Europe. He has also held the positions of Managing Director of Siemens Building Technologies and UK Managing Director of the Power Generation Division based in Newcastle from 2001 to 2007.
