Decarbonising heat is key to achieving Net Zero. Learn how, through planning and process, you can deliver zero carbon heat for your business. Led by Ste Jeffers, Decarbonisation Lead, Siemens UK&I.

Higher renewables penetrations and low carbon technologies require better balancing of power supplies and demand - so how can technologies enable a smoother operation of a complex multi-way energy system to reduce emissions and consumer costs? In this session we will look at how the next generation Grid Software platforms support the operation of a complex energy system.

The connection of new and diverse loads and generation sources at the distribution level of our power grids is causing major challenges for grid operators. A safe, secure and sustainable supply of power for consumers is essential, but in the face of diversification of connected generation and loads, we need a fresh approach to monitoring and controlling this critical infrastructure. Data and digital technologies have the power to help us address these challenges and this session will explore how this is being realised in industry today. Led by Bruno Opitsch, Principle IoT Expert, Siemens AG, Sneha Kundu, Digitalisation Lead, Siemens AG.

Digitalisation holds the key to an improved interface with your fire system. Compliance is trackable, and the availability of data via Siemens cloud-enabled devices improves availability of system records and more efficient maintenance. Process improvements, from design to project execution, to maintenance, are also delivered. Join this session to transform your fire protection. Led by Rob Yates, Head of Fire Products, Siemens UK&I.

Downtimes are expensive and running costs are rising exponentially in today's world. Visualise your LV control & distribution system to increase plant availability via Siemens communication capable devices and enable your key stakeholders to make informed decisions. Led by Scott Bailey, Jimmy Higginbotham, Product Managers, Siemens UK&I with Paul Stead, Saftronics

Theatre 2

In an increasingly competitive market, customers want machines that deliver value, but at competitive prices. For OEMs to gain competitive advantage, they need to keep costs to a minimum. The Automation Initiative of the German Automotive Industry found that almost 60% of the total cost of an automation project comes from engineering and commissioning time. Therefore, OEMs must increase efficiency to ultimately reduce the cost of engineering and commissioning their machines. Join this session to discover how this is achieved using an integrated approach. Led by Matt Handley, Product Manager and Steve Roberts, Motion Automation Specialists Team Lead, Siemens UK&I.

5G and Wi-Fi 6 have been promoted as the next generation of wireless connectivity, giving manufacturers the freedom to deliver on the promises of Industry 4.0. But what is the current landscape of these two technologies, and what will be the choice for manufactures be in the future? Led by Tom Edwards and Owen Gore, Siemens UK&I.

As our Digital Twin Ecosystem keeps growing, our users can make sure that they can take advantage of their evergreen Digital Twin for the different use cases throughout the lifecycle of their facility. PlantSight is the entry point to many apps that are built around the Evergreen Plant Digital Twin with easy access for everyone and linked to real-time performance indicators showing up-to-date plant information from anywhere and at any time.
