Who is Space UG for?

The User Group is designed for our community of SIMATIC PCS 7 users, made up of End Users, Solution Partners and EPCs. The group includes representatives from all of the major Process Industry sectors within GB&I and provides the opportunity for all stakeholders from management, operations, project management, maintenance and engineering to network, collaborate, share their knowledge and learn about the latest industry trends and topics. The opportunity to connect digitally is provided through the SPACE UG LinkedIn community and we actively encourage discussion and idea sharing in this forum.
Space UG conference 2019

What is the Space UG annual conference?

The SPACE UG annual conference is the culmination of the groups activities and is designed over its 2-day duration to provide all attendees with a wealth of opportunity to engage and develop a collaborative community of best practice, in an open and relaxed environment. Our users shape the direction and content of the conference by contributing their experiences of using the SIMATIC PCS 7 platform in the form of breakout sessions. It also provides the opportunity to get up to speed with the latest technology trends, industry topics and innovations in our platform.

We are also delighted that Dr Harmut Klocker, who heads up the Automation and Engineering Systems global business, is able to join us to deliver a keynote speech, alongside Dirk Schmidt-Regge, who many of you will already know from previous years' User Group conferences.

Breakout Sessions form the heart of the User Group and this year, you will be able to select two from eight customer-led breakout sessions, however, how you select them will be different this year.  Once you have registered, in advance of the event, you will receive a link to download the event app and it is in the app that you select your breakout sessions and create your own personal agenda.
