Women in engineering

Showcasing the great contribution women are having to our success.

Historically and traditionally, women have been under-represented in the manufacturing, engineering and technology sectors. At Siemens, we recognise that diverse thought and inclusive mindsets make a significant contribution to our success, and that of our customers.  This is why we must address this imbalance of women in our organisation, continue to invest in our people and devise a strategy to attract and retain women at all levels in our business.

Women in Early Careers

Siemens has continued its drive to increase the number of women in engineering with a recruitment event to spot the STEM talent of the future.

Female students from universities across the UK attended Siemens’ UK headquarters in Manchester where they met inspirational women engineers at various stages of their careers
