Siemens Mobility opens new sustainable Distribution and Logistics Centre for Rail in Kettering
- Siemens Mobility opens new Kettering Distribution and Logistics Centre for Rail to enhance delivery of materials to our fleets and reduce our carbon footprint for warehousing and logistics by 30%.
- The twin distribution hubs, Kettering and Goole will provide warehousing and logistics services for Siemens Mobility’s fourteen depots and servicing locations across the UK.
- Up to 20 jobs to be created including two apprenticeships.

Siemens Mobility to invest £100m in state-of-the-art factory in Chippenham, UK
- Siemens to replace its current rail infrastructure site in Chippenham, Wiltshire with a state-of-the-art factory, digital engineering and R&D facility.
- The new factory is expected to be operational by 2026, strategically positioned to meet the growing demand in rail technology.
- All c.800 local manufacturing, research, engineering, and support staff will transition to the new site.

Siemens welcomes UK Prime Minister and Cabinet to the Goole Rail Village

- The £200 million Goole Rail Village is creating up to 700 jobs and up to 1700 supply chain opportunities.

80% of new Piccadilly line trains will be assembled in Yorkshire, Siemens Mobility confirms

- The train factory onsite will produce up to 80% of new London Underground Piccadilly line trains in the UK, up from 50%
- The whole rail village will employ up to 700 people and create up to 1,700 supply chain opportunities.

Siemens Mobility wins landmark HS2 contract
- Contract to deliver the station building systems for all HS2 stations, Curzon Street, Interchange, Old Oak Common and Euston.
- Project will be delivered from the company’s engineering and manufacturing site in Ashby de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, supporting around 200 jobs.
