Business development manager- Technology finance

Tell us about your role at SFS


My day-to-day role currently is developing new vendor relationships within the technology space. My time is spent researching potential new vendors, setting up meetings with new vendors and onboarding new vendors. I will be working closely with our internal sales teams and marketing teams in creating the opportunities.


What makes you an expert?


I have worked within the Technology asset finance sector for over 25 years.  I have worked with many different technology vendors in the past that has enabled me to develop my knowledge base. I have also spent 5 years working for a telecommunication manufacturer that gave me an understanding of how the technology works.


What is your favourite thing about working for SFS?


I have recently joined SFS on the 1st of September 2021, so it is still early days. However, from what I have seen, we have great people who are focused on delivering great customer service. I believe that everyone is working towards a common goal, and this can only help our team achieve the goals that we have set ourselves.


Tell us a bit about yourself! 


I am married with two children (21 and 17). My wife is an NHS worker and I immensely proud of the work and dedication she has shown through these difficult times. I am active and enjoy all sports, especially football and golf. Since Covid arrived I have discovered walking as a new hobby. I am currently working my way through 50 walks of the Peak District. 


What does the future hold for you and your team?


We are moving into new areas of technology that will present challenges for us all but I am excited to overcoming these and creating new relationships, partnerships that will contribute to SFS future growth and development.
