Account development manager - Broker finance (South) 

Tell us about your role at SFS


My role sits within the Commercial Broker function of Siemens Financial Services. As the Account Development Manager, I have a number of Broker Partners in the South of England who I support and work closely with in order to drive new business growth. The role is very diverse, fast paced and offers new challenges every day. It allows a great opportunity to strategically develop and support current Broker relationships as well as drive new business by the sourcing and onboarding of new ones.


As part of the role, it’s also important to manage our current broker portfolio performance, host review meetings, execute accurate weekly forecasts for the territory and collaborate with other Siemens business functions to manage the portfolios.


What makes you an expert?


This will be my 6th year with Siemens Financial Services, having worked as an Internal Account Manager within the Broker function for 3 of those. I pride myself in offering a consistent, market leading service to our partners whilst always looking for new and innovative ways to support our Brokers and their businesses. 


What is your favourite thing about working for SFS?


One of the best things about working for Siemens is the reputation it holds in the marketplace. Siemens Financial Services have a long history of supporting Brokers and that stability is something I am proud to be a part of.


Tell us a bit about yourself! 


Outside of work I have three main passions – Sport, Food, and the Gym! Despite being a Spurs fan I still have a love for football and torture myself by watching them when I can. Although a love of food and the gym don’t necessarily mix, at least I don’t feel guilty about it! 


What does the future hold for you and your team?


Despite the challenging environment COVID has brought; looking ahead we remain positive. Over the last 9 months we have spent time improving our digital offering and adapting to the changes brought on by the pandemic. We understand the importance of stability during this time – coupled with market leading service, we are looking to continue supporting our Broker partners and their businesses for many years to come!
