Tell us about your role at SFS
My day to day responsibilities include prospecting and calling technology value added resellers, distributors and manufacturers to canvass, onboard and win new business for Siemens. Whilst growing our network of qualified introducers and position our award winning tools as a value added service and differentiator versus other finance competitors in the market. Also, managing key relationships with qualified introducers via support, training and assistance where needed as well as managing internal ones with key stakeholders within Siemens. I keep on top of marketing the core benefits of SFS via a variety of social media platforms including Linkedin.
What makes you an expert?
I have worked in the financial services now for nearly a decade from starting in a small specialised broker, to a bank and now SFS. My experience has been funding mainly software, hardware and services based solutions.
What is your favourite thing about working for SFS?
Siemens is an excellent business to work for with an enviable reputation for innovation and digitalisation. These two elements help me immensely in my job and allow and me to confidently pitch to new vendor prospects about our services and capabilities as a trusted funder. The feedback I receive is only ever positive about our tools and services. The support network in the company is great, especially when working so remotely as we do now.

Originally from Devon and recently married, I now live in South Wales with my Wife. I am a huge rugby fan and retired from the game a couple years ago. I now play golf, which I am obsessed with. I own two chickens, Tina Turner and Chickira who are eggsellent…
What does the future hold for you and your team?
We are all about growth in the Tech finance team and onboarding new relationships. In a competitive market we are challenging and disrupting and the key focus is new vendors and new business.
