Business development manager- Siemens industrial markets

Tell us about your role at SFS


I try to support Siemens OEM’s with sales aid finance solutions.  I am currently trying to grow my vendor portfolio and increase business for Siemens through the OEM’s in the Food and Beverage and packaging sector. This is a big Siemens vertical so there are many Siemens OEM’s in this sector. I have been reaching out to prospects on LinkedIn and trying to introduce SFS and the services we have to offer to them.


What makes you an expert?


I have a degree in Marketing and Transport Economics and I have been working in the finance field for many years. I have worked for both brokers and funders, so I have a good idea of what the customers can expect and what we can offer that is unique. I have had a lot of experience in the industrial machinery sector and the packaging sector, so can bring my knowledge to the OEM’s to assist them in their decision making.


What is your favourite thing about working for SFS?


The people are all so friendly and I have loved getting to know so many different people. Working with Carolyn has been amazing as we have got on so well and she has become a good friend. 


Tell us a bit about yourself! 


I am a mother of two teenage girls, one of whom is at Brighton University. I coach ladies hockey in my spare time and play the odd game myself when I can fit it in around my coaching. I have played since I was 14 years old and it is a great way to stay fit. Now that I am coaching so much it is not as easy! So I do online fitness and weight training to try and stay fit and healthy. Not always easy! 


What does the future hold for you and your team?


I want to make SFS the go-to finance company for Food and beverage and packaging.
