David McCourbrie- Head of Technology Finance
My name is David McCoubrie and I am Head of Technology Finance at SFS. Before joining the Siemens family in 2019, I worked for over 20 years in the vendor finance channel for companies including DLL, CIT and GE Capital. I have worked in both the direct and indirect channels and have managed relationships at both a global and UK level. My experience covers the whole suite of financial product offerings that tech companies will need, so I like to think I’m an expert at finding the ideal finance offering for your tech customers. When I’m not finding the perfect solution to suit your business, I can be found on the side of a swimming pool. I am a Head Coach at a Swimming Club near Bristol. I’ve trained swimmers up to National and International level.
Martin Shaw- Business Development Manager
Martin is our Business Development Manager, so he’s directly responsible for onboarding specialist technology resellers and manufacturers in the UK to the Siemens Vendor partner programme. Before joining the team in 2019, Martin had worked in the Tech market for over 10 years with every tech channel reseller and distributor you could possibly imagine. He also has extensive knowledge of the software funding market, working with vendors in a number of software products including security software and CAD. His pastimes include a passion for Rugby, cooking and can be found on the Golf course at the weekend. Newly married Martin is a family focussed man and enjoys tending to his two chickens.
Getting to know each other feels particularly important at a time when we’re all working remotely and face-to-face introductions aren’t always possible.
