SIWAREX WP231 is now approved NTEP approved for custody transfer applications

Siemens is pleased to announce it has successfully completed the National Type Evaluation Program (NTEP) evaluation of the SIWAREX WP231 and received the certificate of conformance from the National Conference of Weights and Measures (NCWM). This certificate of conformance allows the SIWAREX WP231 to be used in “legal for trade” c applications.
The SIWAREX WP231 is a weighing module for non-automatic scales such as hoppers, platform, and crane scales. It has extensive diagnostic capability and limit value control, is well suited for industries demanding a high degree of accuracy, like food and beverage production, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. The advanced filtering capability of the SIWAREX WP231 allows accurate measurement in harshest environments.
The flexibility of the SIWAREX WP231 allows it to be integrated directly into the control system or operate standalone transmitting the weight measurement through the analog output or one of the onboard communication ports.

- Measurement resolution of 4 million parts
- 10 ms measurement rate
The WT231 weighing terminal measures the amount of product on a in a bin or tank where the mass of the material is required. It is well suited for a wide range of industries: From food, pharmaceutical and chemical through mining, cement and steel making.
