Siemens introduces new metal-enclosed interrupter switchgear for medium-voltage circuit protection
Raleigh, NC | Nov 14, 2016
Siemens has introduced SIEBREAK™, the company’s new metal-enclosed interrupter switchgear, featuring a modular design that provides medium-voltage circuit protection for distribution circuits up to 15 kV. A front-accessible version of the SIEBREAK™ switchgear allows the rear of the equipment to be installed against the wall of a power equipment center or electrical room for additional space savings.
“We’ve designed this new switchgear product line with our customers in mind by providing a modular design with the flexibility to be configured to today’s and tomorrow’s application requirements”, said Brian Dula, head of Siemens Medium Voltage and Systems. “Siemens SIEBREAK™ switchgear extends our products offering to better serve our customers’ needs and provide a more economical option for medium-voltage circuit protection.”
All features have been fully tested to perform in accordance to Siemens and IEEE standards for reliability and service.
