Types of Siemens Partners They complete a rigorous certification process covering two primary areas – education about the Siemens product portfolio, advantages, and benefits, plus Application Engineering technical certification on the architecture design, installation, and operation of the products. Certified Application Engineers must complete required training courses and must pass an exam that includes both written and hands on components. In addition, they attend highly selective annual training classes and must go through recertification every two years. By choosing a certified partner, you can trust that you are working with a team that can meet your needs not only through the sales process, but also through the entire lifecycle of your project.
