Integrating digital manufacturing into an industry 4.0 project

This program, or rather this digitization of production, is one component of an overall project that we have here at the university, whereby we can also implement the automated material flow, the removal of workpieces from digital or even real storage facilities.
In this overall constellation, we also have the option of scanning components or using CAD drawings to bring in an additive production facility, so that we can produce sample components in advance, either on a metallic or plastic basis. If this data is available, it is possible - or should be possible soon - that we can also use this data to manufacture real workpieces.
Then we have the process flow described above in the overall context of a project described as "Industry 4.0 - Digitized Manufacturing".
