Compact, energy self-sufficient, rugged
The RTUs have a flexible power supply concept. They can be operated with up to 2 x 3 redundant battery modules or connected to an accumulator with a solar panel or a 12–24-V DC power source. They operate reliably even under harsh conditions ranging from -40 to +70° Celsius. A protective external enclosure also allows them to be used in areas prone to flooding (IP68).
Telecontrol protocols supported:
- TeleControl Basic
- SINAUT ST7
- IEC 60870-5-104
Typical applications include data logging, leak detection, monitoring pumping stations and water reservoirs, monitoring liquid levels in tanks and silos, monitoring agricultural irrigation systems, flood protection, and buoy position detection.
Reliable even in the most remote locations
Our RTUs record measured values from connected sensors and transmit them via wireless network to the control center – secured by an OpenVPN tunnel or secure e-mail. The communication parameters are freely adjustable. If the measured values drop below or exceed a defined value, the RTU reports it immediately via text message or e-mail alert. This enables service personnel to quickly respond to extraordinary events. The devices offer integrated inputs and outputs. Eight additional sensors can be connected with an extension board via HART Multidrop / Modbus RTU.
The RTUs can perform data preprocessing to reduce data volume and simplify data evaluation in the control center. A variety of program module types are available for this purpose (like silo level-monitoring and calculating overflow volumes in rain overflow basins). Adjustments to the configuration and firmware updates can be performed from the control center using a standard browser.
