Enclosures for electrical equipment can be found in countless applications and areas. In either case, they must be protected in such a way that the electrical equipment is not harmed and does not cause any harm as a result of the respective environmental and operating conditions throughout their service life. This white paper shows the basic differences – and that compliance with both standards in one product is entirely possible. This gives rise to increasingly standardized solutions that can be used globally.
