Ideal for the entry level

The smart and compact motor management system for direct-on-line, reversing, and star-delta (wye-delta) starters or for controlling a motor starter protector or soft starter. The basic system includes a current measuring module and the basic unit for current or thermal overload protection. Communication options include Profibus and Profinet, and one expansion module can be added (additional I/O, ground-fault detection or temperature module).

The SIMOCODE pro High Performance motor management system is variable, intelligent and can be individually adapted to suit any requirement, including fail-safe motor control.  The basic system includes a current and/or voltage module and a basic unit for current or thermal overload protection.  Communication options include Profibus, Profinet, Modbus RTU, EtherNet/IP and OPC UA. Expansion is possible including a separate current/voltage measuring module, ground-fault module, temperature module, standard digital module, fail-safe digital module and an analog module.

The PCS 7 SIMOCODE library enables simple and easy integration of SIMOCODE pro into the SIMATIC PCS 7 process control system. The PCS 7 library contains standardized motor blocks and faceplates for controlling or operating and monitoring the motor. For the plant-wide device parameter setting and diagnostics, SIMOCODE pro is also integrated into SIMATIC PDM (Process Device Manager). This means that a standard, unified tool is embedded in the process control system for intelligent field devices such as SIMOCODE pro.
