Project Director, DMC

Leon is a Project Director in DMC’s Chicago office and has 20+ years of automation and project management experience. He is a licensed Professional Engineer, Siemens Automation Certified, and a WinCC OA Certified Engineer. He currently leads the MxD process demonstration testbed project which will showcase next generation process and mobile worker technology. Leon also leads DMC's cybersecurity initiative  and internal safety committee.

He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and worked with the BDM Petroleum Technologies, the National Institute for Petroleum Energy Research and Phillips Petroleum before joining DMC in 1998.

Mobility Engineer, Dow

Katelyn’s role as a mobility engineer in Dow’s Digital Operations Center is to pilot and validate digital technologies for the manufacturing environment. She has implemented technologies from several focus areas, including rugged hardware, wearable devices, mobile worker concepts, environmental health and safety, advanced process control, and wireless network infrastructure. Katelyn was previously a Process Controls Engineer for Dow Core R&D.

She graduated from the University of Texas with a B.S. in Computational Biomedical Engineering. She currently resides in Houston, TX. In her free time, Katelyn enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, and traveling.

Senior Project Engineer, MxD

Andrew Nachenberg joined MxD as a Senior Project Engineer in April of 2021.  In this role, Andrew is responsible for managing R&D projects with both academic and industry partners.  Prior to joining MxD, he held various engineering and supply chain roles within the medical device manufacturing industry. 

Andrew is currently pursuing an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and has an MS in Engineering from Northwestern, and undergraduate degree in Packaging Engineering from Michigan State.

Iiro is a chemical engineer with 10+ years of experience in process industry digitalization and the application of digital twins across value chains. He is a resource for many topics, with a focus on the applications of Industry 4.0 and the Digital Enterprise.
