Based on standard automation technology and the fast PROFINET connection, both platform screen doors as well as gates can be used quickly, safely and energy-efficiently. Centrally installed firmware updates and compliance with the SIL 2 standard according to IEC 62061 are other important points. The controller can also be used under extreme environmental conditions and is also available in versions for an extended
temperature range.
Automation of gap filling with SIDOOR ATE530G
The project-specific solutions for sliding or folding steps close the gap between platform edge and train. Safe and independent passenger exchange for handicapped persons or, for example, baby carriages is possible without any problems. The requirements for fast extension and retraction speeds are met with high reliability and compliance with clamping forces.
Automation of interior railway doors with SIDOOR ATD400T
Our control system for interior railway doors complies with all relevant standards: EN 50155 (electrical safety), EN 14752 (in regard to force and energy), EN 50121-3-2 (EMC), IEC 61373 (vibration/shock) as well as the current fire protection standard for components in rail vehicles
DIN EN 45545-2, HL3 (Hazard Level 3). In addition, there is the time-saving single-button operation for complete commissioning as well as push-to-open and push-to-close functions.

With SIDOOR, Siemens is moving with the trend towards equipping stations with platform screen doors that are suitable for use in a variety of platform barrier systems. Intelligent door control drive, consisting of the SIDOOR ATE530S or SIDOOR ATE531S control unit and the SIDOOR MED280 EC direct drive or the SIDOOR MEG251 EC gear drive.
Can be directly integrated into the PROFINET environment via the RJ45 interface with integrated switch.

SIDOOR ATD400T Solution for railway interior doors
The drive can operate interior railway doors with a total weight of up to 180 kg, and consists of a controller, a maintenance-free drive unit and a geared motor.
Push-to-open and push-to-close function: The controller automatically detects a DOOR OPEN / DOOR CLOSE command if a door is pulled manually by more than 2 cm in the opening/closing direction.
