AFCI Diagnostics
Siemens AFCI Diagnostics circuit breaker communicates via Bluetooth with the AFCI Diagnostics app. The app provides basic diagnostic measurements for this breaker, as well as a way to setup and load waveforms seen by the breaker mimicking the oscilloscope functionality. Electricians can use it to diagnose why a tripping event is happening and to also improve the arc detection algorithm.

Use this guide in conjunction with your AFCI Diagnostics breaker to help identify and diagnose why AFCI breakers may be tripping. AFCI breakers monitor electrical signals on the wiring for conditions that are present during an arc-fault event. The app helps pinpoint the root cause by taking measurements of these signals.
