Vector® series group-operated medium-voltage switches

Siemens medium-voltage air-break disconnect switches are designed for superior performance in three-phase loadbreak switching. 

The SDR medium-voltage distribution recloser is a flexible outdoor vacuum switching device – pole or structure-mounted - that can trip and reclose up to nine times in case of a temporary line fault, thus avoiding longer network interruptions. The SDR offers reliable operation even in toughest climate conditions, like solar power plants.

Medium-voltage 8DJH 36 switchgear is powerful and suitable for various distribution system applications. It can be used for energy supply at airports, train stations, stadiums, and large building complexes, such as hotels, banks, or hospitals. 8DJH 36’s advantages are ideal for renewable applications, particularly in onshore and offshore wind farms and in hydroelectric and solar power plants. Also, with an available outdoor enclosure, 8DJH 36 can fit into existing solar farm skid solutions with a transformer and inverter.

Siemens switchboards design has been aimed at improving layout convenience, reducing installation costs and minimizing the impact and cost of system changes.
