Siemens Vietnam supports voluntary blood donation

Overview

COVID-19 pandemic has significantly affected the voluntary blood donation across Vietnam. The amount of blood for emergency and treatment has decreased, causing a shortage of blood, especially in hospitals in the big cities. In response to the call for voluntary blood donation, Siemens Vietnam has launched a blood donation campaign and received enthusiastic support from all staffs. On September 18th, 2020 at Siemens office in Ho Chi Minh City, “Voluntary blood donation” event took place successfully with the support of Cho Ray hospital. The event attracted more than 50 staffs. In addition to the voluntary blood donation activity, Siemens Healthineers also donated and supported collectives and individuals who were significantly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic with more than 11 tons of rice, 6,000 masks and antibacterial soaps together with many other necessities.
